Little Known Facts about Balloons

Happy Holidays from all of us at Celebrate The Day!

Here are some Balloons Facts just in case you were wondering:

· Malaysia produces the most latex of any country in the world.
· Qualatex latex balloons are made from 100% natural latex - not plastic.
Our latex balloons decompose as fast as an oak leaf in your backyard!
· Latex balloons come from rubber trees.
· Latex is collected by cutting the tree's bark, then catching the latex in a cup.
· Latex harvesting doesn't hurt the tree!
· Latex balloons are Earth-friendly!
· Rubber trees grow in rain forests.

· Latex harvesting discourages deforestation because latex-producing trees
are left intact.

· A tree can produce latex for up to 40 years!

· Pioneer uses water-based printing inks. And, they use the Alar system to process printing ink waste into non-hazardous materials.

· Balloons were invented in 1824, the same year as the electromagnet.

· Pioneer manufactures nearly one billion Qualatex latex balloons per year.

· Helium-filled balloons float because helium is lighter than nitrogen and oxygen, the two components of air.

*Use Hi-Float to add float time to latex balloons. This treatment increases the average float time of latex balloons by 25 times.
*Warning: Balloons are not toys and are not recommended for children under the age of 4 without
adult supervision. Latex balloons and the disc ties used to seal them are choking hazards for children.
Keep all mylar balloons and mylar ribbons away from power lines. Celebrate The Day is not responsible
for any harm caused by the balloons that are delivered.

How should I inflate a Mickey Mouse Ears 15" latex balloon?

How should I inflate a Mickey Mouse Ears 15" latex balloon?
You may start to feel like they are going to pop and the ears are not blown up yet. But just keep adding air until they fill out because they won't pop.

Improperly inflated below

Lack of inflation. Not enough air/helium has been blown into the balloon. If you take the balloons to a party store/drug or grocery store, be sure to ask if they are familiar with this balloon. Just because they work behind the counter, doesn't make them a balloon professional! I've had hands on experience with this balloon and it is Qualatex brand... the very best balloons.

They are available in a variety of colors: dark blue, sapphire blue, green, purple, red, pink, yellow.  They'll be a hit at your next Mickey or Minnie Mouse party!

Snoopy Balloon Arch and Table Decorations

This is my son's first year in pre-school. I designed balloon decorations for their "Snoopy Day". This was an hour to meet the teachers and classmates and snoop around the class room... as well as the playground. =o) A spiral balloon arch was placed indoors for everyone to walk through. Snoopy body foil balloons as well as 16" latex balloons were used on the tables.
