Party Balloon Practices and Tips

Celebrate The Day encourages our customers to use & promote
the following smart balloon practices.

• Keep helium-filled balloons secured to a weight. A helium-filled balloon should be tied securely to a weight to keep it from releasing into the air.

• Never release foil balloons into the air. When your party or celebration has concluded, pop the balloons and dispose of them properly. Although extremely rare, an escaped foil balloon could cause problems if entangled in power lines. Foil balloons can also become litter if not disposed of properly.

• Keep deflated or popped latex balloons away from small children to avoid risks of choking. Children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons; adults should always supervise young children with balloons.

We used 6" Silver Latex Balloons by Qualatex.
Inflated them and tied two balloons together. Inflated the second color, light blue and twisted them with the Silver balloons.
We added the balloons to our equipment, flexible arch cord, flat bases and metal poles. Beautiful lines of color made the venue look fabulous!

How should I inflate a Mickey Mouse Ears 15" latex balloon?

How should I inflate a Mickey Mouse Ears 15" latex balloon?
You may start to feel like they are going to pop and the ears are not blown up yet. But just keep adding air until they fill out because they won't pop.

Improperly inflated below

Lack of inflation. Not enough air/helium has been blown into the balloon. If you take the balloons to a party store/drug or grocery store, be sure to ask if they are familiar with this balloon. Just because they work behind the counter, doesn't make them a balloon professional! I've had hands on experience with this balloon and it is Qualatex brand... the very best balloons.

They are available in a variety of colors: dark blue, sapphire blue, green, purple, red, pink, yellow.  They'll be a hit at your next Mickey or Minnie Mouse party!
